Botifarra dolça, a sweet sausage, has been a traditional cold meat of our region since the 14th century. You will find it both raw and dried, and it can be eaten as an appetizer, main course or dessert. It used to be one of the sausages produced during the pig slaughter in the farmhouses of the Empordà region, and today it has become a traditional product made throughout the year, available at any butcher's in the city.
