Empordà Honey

Honey has been harvested in the Empordà region since ancient times. Throughout the region we find different types of honey, depending on the source flower, in particular multi-flower, rosemary and orange blossom varieties. The region's producers sell pure, traditionally made honey that tends to crystallise after some time, which safeguards its properties, unlike pasteurised honeys, which lose some of the nutrients found in honey during the production process.
