Onion from Figueres

An onion produced in the Empordà with the characterístics it has thanks to the climate and geographical conditions of the area. It has a sweetish flavour and is soft. As the name indicates is typical from Figueres. It is a reddish, slightly purple colour and it has a somewhat flattened shape.

The sowing period: December and January

Harvesting time: from june to july
