Celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Dalí Theatre-Museum with a great popular event on 28 September 2024.
Various activities open to the public are planned for the Gala-Salvador Dalí Square.
Organised by Figueres Town Council, the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation and the Friends of the Dalí Museums.
Programme:
SATURDAY 28 SEPTEMBER:
In the Gala-Salvador Dalí square
- 17.30 h (Town Hall Square in the direction of Gala-Salvador Dalí Square): Exhibition of dances by the Dalí and Gala giants led by the Gegantera Gang of Figueres and with music by the Mini-Stress.
- 6 p.m.: Audition and sardana dancing by the Copla Sant Jordi.
- 7 p.m.: Speeches by the authorities followed by a big birthday cake made by the master confectioner Christian Escribà in collaboration with the Figueres confectioners.
- 20 h: Video mapping (different sessions and times during the same evening and night).
OTHER ACTIVITIES (Saturday 28 September)
- Throughout the day: Distribution of Dalinian moustaches to all visitors.
COMMEMORATIVE PRODUCTS:
- From 23 September, the Figueres confectioners will be distributing, in their establishments, biscuits in the shape of Dalí's three croutons bread, which will be kept in a specially designed box.
